Lost in nothingness – the black and white pictures convey a melancholy which sometimes carries me away to a state of floating in nothingness. They show the vulnerability of the human being – lonely and lost in a lost world.

Floating in nothingness
Floating in nothingness – I lose my body and float in space.
I move – feeling confused and surprised – along the chasm of nothingness. Pictures of imprints of my life emerge within me, they fade in the light – in the act of being.
Where do I come from? What is the purpose of being? Why do life’s pictures lose their shine and dissolve into nothingness? Who issues storm warnings when people no longer know what they’re doing. Memories of a life – in the past – like an echo from far away. Where has love gone to in our lives?
All of a sudden it is gone, what was in us before – one morning it disappeared into thin air – dissolved – without floor, without walls. Like places who left us.
We humans have violated the earth in our arrogant way – so that soon, life will no longer be possible on it.
Our actions show what it looks like inside of us humans.
